Welcome to My Site!

I began fishing in the late 1970's, mostly saltwater surf fishing for Striped Bass, Flounder and Bluefish along the New Jersey shore. After several years of stress in the corporate workforce and a move to the great state of Michigan, I rediscovered my long forgotten passion for fishing — this time in the fresh water streams and lakes throughout Midwest America. I am not a pro, not even close! Instead, I created this site to highlight the beauty of fishing (the lures, the fish, the lakes) and to help provide just a enough information to help the everyday, weekend angler enjoy the sport a little more.
